We were scheduled to release our Krea for Design and Vizcom for Design courses today. But Midjourney dropped a tool that demanded our time.
The external image editor is here.
What does that mean? It means you can import your images, whether cad renderings, sketches, photographs, and edit portions of them with generative Ai, while keeping the rest intact.
Want to look at your packaging concept in different settings? Done.
Want to look at different button treatments on your product rendering? Done.
Surfacing treatments on your design? Yes.
Different apparel on your portrait? Got it.
Different treatments on part of your sketch? No problem.
Etc, etc, etc.
I’m not prone to exaggeration, but I can’t see how this isn’t going to have a big impact on the design profession.
It’s no longer about just curating. Ai is now helping us modify OUR designs, our inputs.
A bit of not so good news for some… it’s only available to folks that:
+ Have generated 10k+ images
+ Have an annual membership
+ Have been a monthly subscribers for the past 12 months

Adobe’s Project Remix a Lot for Graphic Design
Adobe is making moves. At a recent Adobe MAX Sneaks session, Adobe announced that it is preparing to introduce a new generative Ai function in Illustrator, specifically aimed at enhancing layout design. The new tool will allow designers to upload a sketch of a layout and essentially render the layout into Adobe standard editable components.
This will streamline the process of creating complex layouts by generating variations and optimizing designs in real time. With this function, designers will be able to experiment with multiple compositions, refine visual arrangements, and speed up the overall design workflow, making it an exciting addition to Illustrator’s toolkit. As generative Ai continues to reshape the creative landscape, Adobe's integration promises to be a game changer.

Rendering Multiple Views of a 3D Model in Vizcom
Have you ever wanted to modify an existing product and showcase it in a unique setting? We’ve got you with this quick Vizcom x Magnific workflow.
The steps are as follows:
Find your product image that you want to render
Take the image into a Vizcom canvas and generate a 3D model
Use the Vizcom model to place multiple views in the working canvas
Develop a prompt and use the paint brush to customize the product in Vizcom and render it
Take the image into Magnific for relighting and scene generation
This workflow is helpful for creating mid to high-grade visual prototypes super fast.
Vizcom is perfect for getting multiple views and Magnific comes in with the ability to look at your renderings in different settings.

As mentioned above, we were schedule to launch our Krea and Vizcom for Design courses today. They are ready to go.
We were also going to launch our updated Midjourney for Design course, all hosted on our website back-end now.
But Ai world moves fast and we had to adapt to new features that needed testing, like Midjourney’s new feature.
